DNCC launches hotline to repel mosquitoes
The Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) authorities have launched a hotline service as part of their move to rid the city of mosquitoes. Residents in the DNCC area can avail the service by dialling 01932-665544, said DNCC Public Relations Officer ASM Mamun.

The decision was taken at an emergency meeting of the city corporation at the DNCC Nagar Bhaban on Sunday with Chief Executive Officer Md Mesbahul Islam as chair. Sources said city dwellers living in the DNCC area can call the city corporation team concerned every day from 9am to 5pm and ask for spraying pesticides in mosquito hotspots. Members of the team will be present on the spot within 24 hours of receiving a call.
