Pathao, a Bangladeshi ride-sharing platform, has introduced its messenger service “Pathao Parcels” with a promise to deliver packages within three hours in Dhaka city.
The package should not weigh more than two kilograms and the dimension of the parcels should not be more than 12 inches x 12 inches x 12 inches. The service will be available between 9am and 7pm every day except government holidays, according to a press release.
The service is already accessible from Pathao app.
To access Pathao Parcels, one needs to tap the top vertical line on the Pathao app screen and select “Pathao Parcels.” Then the user will have to specify the pickup and drop off locations for the delivery, fill in details about the receiver, specify the type of product you are delivering from a set of given categories.
After reviewing all the information, a user can send a delivery request and the nearest Pathao rider will arrive at the doorstep to pick up the product and deliver it to the receiver within three hours.
Users will also be able to keep track down their parcels via GPS through the Pathao app.
