1971 war veterans from Russia, India meet Bangladesh Navy chief
Thirty veteran fighters from India and Russia, who took part in the 1971 Liberation War, have paid a call on Bangladesh Navy Chief Admiral Nizamuddin Ahmed. As part of their six-day visit to Bangladesh, the veteran fighters from the two nations met the chief of naval staff at Naval Headquarters in Dhaka on Sunday. Defence officials of Bangladesh, India and Russia were also present there. The delegations are scheduled to depart on December 19.
