The four-day event, organized by the DU Model United Nations Association (DUMUNA), will be inaugurated by DU Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Prof Nasreen Ahmad.
The association made the announcement at a press conference titled “Towards Global Amity: Cooperation for Inclusive Future” that it organized with the DU Journalists’ Association on Thursday.

“Over 500 students from home and abroad will participate at DUNMUN 2017. DUNMUN is a conference sketching the procedure of the UN General Assembly,” said DUMUNA General Secretary Sharmin Akter Shakila.
DUMUNA has been organizing the conference in collaboration with the UN Information Centre since 2012, with East Asia Study Centre as a strategic partner.
