Annual Banking Conference begins on Monday

A two-day Annual Banking Conference will begin at the Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM) in Dhaka on Monday. The BIBM Governing Body Chairman and Bangladesh Bank Governor Fazle Kabir will attend inaugural session of the conference as the chief guest, said a BIBM media release. Four plenary sessions will be held during the conference and 20 articles will be presented, while a total of 600 people from home and abroad including experts, bankers, researchers and students will attend the sessions. The BIBM is organising the event in association with the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF), QCash, Enroute and Aamra. The media partners of the event are Bonik Barta, Dhaka Tribune and Channel -24. BIBM has been organizing the Annual Banking Conference since 2012, a two day gathering aimed at bringing together experts, academicians and researchers from all over the world to exchange and share knowledge, experience and research on banking and related issues.
