Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu has said bringing the voice of general people is the biggest challenge for the news media.
He made the statement during an event celebrating the second anniversary of Deepto TV on Sunday evening. He said the people should be the media’s primary concern, not the politicians.
The minister also added: “There is nothing wrong in broadcasting the Bangla-dubbed foreign serials.”
“Children need entertainment, but cartoons like Doraemon teach them cunningness,” Inu said about the banning of the controversial Japanese cartoon.
He said: “Deepto has brought a different taste in the entertainment industry.”
