Private car catches fire at Dhaka airport

A private car was in flames Monday morning at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka that led to panic among the people at the airport. However, no casualties were reported in the incident. Around 10:45am, after the fire service was informed, a unit rushed to the airport premises and doused the fire within 15 minutes.

Confirming the matter, Kurmitola Fire Station Inspector Mohammad Oliullah told the Dhaka Tribune that the incident took place in an open space at the car parking area. "We suspect the car caught fire due to technical glitches," he added.
