The free online registration for the Dhaka Literary Festival 2017 started from Friday morning.
There will also be on-spot registration at the venue from November 16-18, the organizers said.
“Entry is free for the festival, and online registration for the festival only takes a few minutes. There has been a great response so far, after it went live on our website on Friday,” Sadaf Saaz, one of the directors of the festival, told the Dhaka Tribune.
Like the previous years, a host of national and international luminaries— mostly writers, artists, poets, novelists, directors, scholars, researchers, analysts and journalists will take part in this year’s congregation, the organisers said.
Over the course of the 3-day festival, guests will discuss a plethora of subjects of literary and political importance in over a hundred sessions. Moreover, attendees will enjoy vibrant cultural performances, documentaries and book unveiling events at the programme.
