Missing Mehedi returns home
Mehedi Hasan, 27, a resident of Banani, Dhaka who had been missing since December 1, returned home on Tuesday. Constable Jahangir Hawladar, Mehdi’s father, said: “My son came back home and we went to the police station to report his return. He was sick when he returned so we are on the way to the hospital now.” The father also said he could not hold a detailed conversation with Mehedi, as he is sick and unable to speak much. Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police Masudur Rahman said: “Mehedi found himself in Savar around 8am and returned home by himself. He cannot remember any other details. Police are trying to find out other information.” Safayet Hossain, 24, and Zayen Hossain Khan Pavel, 23, also went missing with Mehedi from Northern Cafe in Banani’s kitchen market area. The return of the two missing youths has not been reported yet.
