According to police and locals, a teenaged tenth-grader of the area called a fourth-grader of Bidyabagish Government Primary School to his house on the pretext of watching television on Friday afternoon.
At one stage, the 15-year-old closed the door of the room, put his hand over the fourth-grader’s mouth and raped him. When the child somehow managed to remove the accused's hand from his mouth and shout, the teenager immediately fled the scene.
The injured child returned home and told his mother about the incident.
Efforts were made throughout the day to resolve the issue locally.
Later on Saturday afternoon, Fulbari police rescued the child and admitted him to the upazila health complex.
