Police have arrested three suspects

A differently-abled 20-year-old girl has been gang-raped in Goradoba union of Netrokona's Kendua upazila.

According to locals and police sources, the girl was returning home after visiting her aunt—in nearby Wojhati Shibpur village—on Monday. On her way back, she was allegedly abducted by four men who gang-raped her in a cow shed.

Hearing her screams, locals rescued the girl and called the police. Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police (Kendua Circle) Mahmudul Hasan and Kendua police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Rasheduzzaman rushed to the scene.

Police stormed the area and arrested Kazal, 40, Humayun, 25, and Jamrul, 28.

The girl was taken to a local medical facility, for treatment, on Tuesday morning. OC Rasheduzzaman said a case will be filed soon.
