The ringleader of a group that took turns raping a mother and a daughter on a highway in Narsingdi was arrested by a RAB team in Narayanganj on Monday morning.
A RAB-11 team arrested Mokhles from Madhabdi in Narayanganj after they received a tip as to where he could be hiding.
A RAB-11 spokesperson said Mokhles also confessed to his involvement in the course of preliminary interrogation.

The RAB spokesperson also said Mokhles was a known criminal, with various rape and possession of firearms cases filed against him.
Two other suspects charged in the rape case were arrested by Narsingdi police earlier.
On Friday night, a mother-daughter pair waiting for a bus along the highway was abducted by a group of men who took turns raping them afterwards.
