Two women filed separate cases over rape and attempted rape in two districts on Thursday, while another incident was reported on Tuesday with no case filed.

A woman was gang-raped after a local auto-rickshaw driver drove off with her and two other men on Tuesday evening.
The three men dragged her into a pump-house in Gopalganj sadar where they took turns raping her.
Locals hearing the screams informed the police, who rescued the rape victim but could only detain one of the rapists.
The police say no cases have been filed regarding the incident as of yet.
A college student filed a case accusing a group of men of raping her when she went to Savar for a visit.
Dhamrai police said the victim filed the case herself on Thursday.
According to the police, the rape survivor had gone to the village of Sailan with two friends on March 2. They were intercepted by a group of 4-5 people – two identified as Rasel and Babu – who beat up her friends and abducted her. She was taken to an isolated area nearby where they raped her. Her friends, with the assistance of locals, rescued her afterwards.
The rape victim also said that local influential people have tried to bury the matter. The police later inspected the spot of the crime, and sent the complainant to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for a medical exam.
On Thursday, an 18-year-old attempted to rape a fourth-grade student in the village of Nagarbari in Kalihati.
According to her family, Russell, a local delinquent known for harassing young girls, dragged the minor girl to a nearby forest and attempted to rape her on Thursday morning, when she was going to school.
Her screams drove Russell off. Afterwards, locals protested and demanded his punishment.
The police are looking into the incident after a complaint was filed by the victim’s family.
A key suspect in the gang-rape of a woman in Nababganj, Hili was arrested by police on Thursday dawn.
According to the police, a group of five, including Shahin Alam, fell upon a 22-year-old woman who was going home on the evening of January 18.
Police say they are working to arrest the other culprits involved.
