Pabna Detective Branch (DB) of Police has arrested two people in connection with making fake question papers for the ongoing Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations, in Pabna.

The accused Nihad Malitha and Ripon Ali were arrested from the Ishurdi upazila in the early hours of Thursday.

Additional Superintendent of Police (SP) Gautam Kumar Biswas at a press briefing said: “Nihad is a 10th grade student and Ripon is from grade 11. They are friends and members of a fraud syndicate.”

“One month ago, they posted in a Facebook page named “Black Tiger” about having SSC question papers. They also setup a bKash account for transactions.

“Through the bkash account, they took money from students who thought those were real question papers,” Gautam added.

The Additional SP also said: “We are interrogating them now and required action will be taken against them, according to the law.”
