Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), in a drive, arrested a young man for posting alleged anti-state remarks on his Facebook profile.
Md Jahidul Islam, 20, was arrested from Shekherkhil area in Banshkhali upazila on Sunday, reports UNB.
The arrestee is the son of Md Ishhak of the same area.
A RAB press release stated that a team of RAB, acting on information, conducted the drive around 5:20pm and arrested Jahidul; plus they seized his mobile phone.
Jahidul used to share anti-state and provocative posts and content on Facebook; and posted photos of the Prime Minister and law enforcement with defamatory captions, the press release said.
