Miscreants shot him dead on August 22

A case has been filed accusing 32 people, including the United Peoples Democratic Front (UPDF) chief, over the killing of an activist of Parbatya Chattogram Jana Sanghati Samity (JSS-MN Larma) in Rangamati. 

The victim’s relative Chayan Chakma filed the case against UPDF chief Prasit Bikash Khisa and others with Baghaichhari police station on Friday night. 

Baghaichhari police station’s OC Amir Hossain confirmed the matter. 

Mission Chakma, 30, was shot dead in the district’s Baghaichhari area on August 22.

The JSS claimed the blamed UPDF for the killing, but the UPDF denied the allegation.
