Police have detained 13 suspected drug dealers during a special drive in Kurigram.
The drive, conducted in the early hours of Thursday, was part of the police’s countrywide campaign against narcotics.
Additional Superintendent of Police Md Menhazul Alam said the campaign would continue, and asked the people to come forward and provide information on drug dealers.
As of Thursday, at least 59 suspected drug dealers have been killed in alleged gunfights with law enforcement agencies since the launch of an aggressive anti-narcotics campaign in early May.
