Later, CIID officials detained Sarwar and Biplab from the airport based on information provided by the two women. During interrogation, Sarwar and Biplab confessed that they were the owners of the seized gold bars, Moinul Khan said. Then detained were handed over to Airport police station. Meanwhile, officials of Dhaka Customs House recovered 10 more gold bars, which were abandoned inside the washroom between boarding bridges 6 and 7 of the international terminal of the airport at around 7:00pm.
