One held over infant’s death during mugging
Police have arrested the prime accused in a case filed over the death of a baby boy during a mugging attempt in Dhaka. The identity of the arrestee could not immeidately be ascertained. Jatrabari police station Officer-in-Charge Anisur Rahman confirmed the matter on Sunday. However, he did not disclose details regarding the arrest.

On December 18, seven-month-old Arafat died after falling from a moving rickshaw during a mugging attempt in Doyaganj area. Arafat, son of Shah Alam Gazi from Shariatpur district, was on his mother Aklima Begum’s lap when the incident took place. He fell when the muggers tried to snatch his mother’s handbag.
