August 21 grenade attack case plaintiff stabbed in Dhaka

Badar Aziz Uddin, the plaintiff of one of the August 21 grenade attack cases, has been stabbed by miscreants in Dhania area in Dhaka. The attack took place early Friday, reports UNB. Police said Badar came under the attack when he came out of his home around 4am to go to Chandpur district to attend a programme. A microbus was scheduled to pick him up along with one of his neighbours. Jatrabari Police Station Inspector (operation) Rahat Khan said the attacker stabbed him indiscriminately and fled the scene while he was moving towards East Sheikhdi area. Later, the driver of the vehicle and the neighbour noticed Badar when they reached the spot and took him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. The police official said Badar was stabbed in his right chest, left hand and leg.
