Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested two suspected militants of New JMB’s “Sarwar-Tamim group” from Demra area of Dhaka.
They are Tushar Habib alias Aiyub, 26 and Abu Bakkar Siddique, 35.
“They were arrested on 11:30pm Wednesday from Demra area,” RAB 11 Commanding Officer Kamrul Hassan told the Dhaka Tribune on Thursday morning.
Another RAB 11 official said: “The detained militants are accused in a terrorism case filed with Narayanganj’s Rupganj police station.
