RAB detains three JMB men in Gazipur

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has detained three militants of Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from Master Bari area in Gazipur district. RAB 1 Media Officer and Senior ASP Muhit Kabir Serniabat said, acting on a tip-off, the elite force members raided a house early on Wednesday morning and detained three JMB men including the house owner and his two tenants when they were planning militant activities. The detainees are suspected to be involved with the series bombing in 2005, the RAB officer said. RAB will hand over the detained JMB men to Joydebpur police station after interrogation.
