Indian hackers suspected behind ICT Division website hacking
The website of the Information and Communication Technology Division under the Ministry of Information was inaccessible for several hours on Saturday. The hack was noticed around 2pm, and it came back online around 5pm in the afternoon. Unlike the hackers of the Tourism Board website, the perpetrators did not identify themselves this time. ICT Division's Public Relation Officer Abu Nasher said they were working to recover the website.

“We noticed it around 3pm. Soon after noticing it, a crack team of ICT experts began recovery operations,” he said. Another official asking to remain anonymous, said the hack was carried out by Indian hackers, according to the ICT Division's primary findings. But the exact time of attack could not be ascertained. Earlier on Thursday, the website of Bangladesh Tourism Board was taken down by a group of hackers. The site has yet to be recovered.
