The bodies of militants Marjan and Saddam have been handed over to Anjuman-e-Mufidul Islam.
Mahmud Hassan, duty officer of the charitable organisation, received the bodies from Inspector Abdullah Al Nazrul at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) around 10:30am on Sunday.
DMCH police outpost in-charge SI Bachchu Miah confirmed the matter to the Dhaka Tribune.
Marjan and Saddam were killed in an alleged gunfight with the Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit in Dhaka’s Mohammadpur area on January 7.

According to police, Marjan coordinated the July 1 attack on Gulshan's Holey Artisan Bakery that killed 23 people, including 17 foreigners, while Saddam was accused of masterminding a string of fatal attacks in northern Bangladesh.
