Robber ringleader held with 8 firearms, ammo in Cox’s Bazar

An alleged ringleader of a robber gang has been arrested with firearms and ammunition from Shaplapur area under Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar district. The arrestee is Nurul Alam, 35, son of Ejjot Ali and ringleader of robber gang. Major Ruhul Amin, company commander of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) 7, said: “We conducted a drive and detained the man with eight firearms and ammunition around 5:30am on Wednesday.” He said: “Nurul is an accused in five cases filed with Teknaf police.”
