Assistant Professor Jillur Rahman of SGWC confirmed the incident. He said that a number of students along with Fazilatunnesa were threatened over phone calls and SMS. He added that law enforcement authorities were duly informed about this incident.

He said: “We are actively looking into the matter as we speak. We have also accorded police protection to an examinee when her parents requested us.”Fazilatunnesa, spokesperson for the campaign that protests the attack on Khadiza and demanded punishment for Badrul was threatened to be killed over the phone on Thursday.
The threat was delivered via an anonymous call to her mother’s phone around Thursday noon.
One of Khadiza’s classmates was threatened and she was allotted police protection on her way to an admission exam.
Fazilatunnesa told the Dhaka Tribune that she was told to step away from the movement immediately. In the event of her persistence, she would be killed, she tells the Dhaka Tribune.
