
A Dhaka court Wednesday ordered investigators to submit the probe report in the July 1 Gulshan terrorist attack case by August 24.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Snigdha Rani Chakrabarty issued the order to the investigation officer of the case on Wednesday, CMM Court's General Recording Officer Sub Inspector Farid Mia told the Dhaka tribune.
The case was filed on Monday under the Anti-Terrorism Act by Gulshan police Sub-Inspector Ripon accusing five attackers of killing 17 foreigners, three Bangladeshi hostages and two police officers at Holey Artisan Bakery and O' Kitchen.
But later the name of the pizza maker at the restaurant, Saiful Islam Chowkidar, was also named as an accused. Police have admitted that he was killed duirng the Operation Thunderbolt mistakenly.
The five are Nibras Islam, Rohan Imtiaz, Meer Saameh Mubasher, Shafiqul Islam Ujjal and Khairul Islam Payel. International militant group Islamic State claimed responsibility for the deadly attack and published the photos of the five youths.
