Qcoom owner Ripon Mia was arrested on Monday and put on two-day remand
A Dhaka court has placed Qcoom Head of Sales Md Humayan Kabir, well-known as RJ Nirob, on a one-day remand in a fraud case.
Police arrested him early on Friday in Dhaka’s Adabor before producing him before the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Begum Mahmuda Akter seeking five days to quiz him in custody.
DMP Tejgaon division Additional Deputy Commissioner Hafiz Al Faruk said a customer had filed the case with Tejgaon industrial police station on Thursday on charges of fraud, accusing five people including RJ Nirob.

Qcoom, much like Evaly or eorange, has recently fallen into hot water over embezzlement allegations.
On Monday, Qcoom owner Ripon Mia was put on a two-day remand following his arrest on the same day in a case filed under the Digital Security Act.
On Thursday, he was sent to jail after the end of the remand period.
Ripon stands accused of embezzling Tk250 crore of customers’ funds paid in advance through his controversial ecommerce platform.
