An office order was issued in this regard on Monday
The High Court administration has suspended one of its staffers, who was attached to the residence of a judge, for leaving his workstation defying orders.
In an official order on Monday, the court’s General and Establishment wing said Anwar Sadat Khan, an MLSS (member of lower subordinate staff), was suspended for violating orders, leaving workstation without clearance, negligence in duty, among other misconducts.
Anwar was assigned to the residence of Justice Mahmudul Hoque.
When Bangladesh went for a shutdown of offices to stem the spread of the novel coronavirus, Anwar left for his hometown despite specific instructions by Justice Hoque to remain in Dhaka, according to the official order.
