The Supreme Court has issued a circular extending the period of bail and injunction on case proceedings for more 2 weeks till the reopening of the courts on April 12.
The Supreme Court published a circular in this regard on its website on Saturday.
The Supreme Court said appeals against any order or judgment could be filed without a certified copy on the day of the reopening of the court, but the certified copy must be submitted during the hearing of appeal.
The circular also added that one or more than one magistrates were on duty at every chief judicial magistrate court or chief metropolitan magistrate court to attend to urgent cases.
The Supreme Court has already issued a circular declaring a general holiday till April 9 to prevent the transmission of coronavirus.
Inclusive of the two days of the weekend, the vacation will continue till April 11. Therefore, the courts will reopen on April 12.
