A mobile court has sent two people to jail for a day after Aedes mosquito larvae were found at their houses under Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC).
The individuals sent to jail are: Saju and M Nazrul Islam from the Mirpur road area.
A total of five mobile courts conducted 198 drives at several areas of DSCC and sent two people to jail and warned five building owners upon finding the existence of Aedes mosquito larvae.

A fine of Tk36,000 was also imposed to six house owners including Chamelibagh Concord Twin Tower.
Till now, DSCC mobile courts have visited a total of 75,243 buildings and sent four people to jail.
They also warned 16 building owners and fined them Tk31.90 lakh.
