The court has asked the DC and SP of Barguna to provide information
The High Court has asked to know the steps the law enforcement has taken to deal with the brutal murder of a young man in Barguna, who was hacked to death in front of his wife in broad daylight.
The court asked Deputy Attorney General Barrister ABM Abdullah Al Mahmud Bashar to get information on the subject, from the Barguna Deputy Commissioner (DC) and Superintendent of police (SP), by 2pm Thursday.
After a video showing the gruesome incident became viral on social media, several media reports were written on it. Barrister Ruhul Kuddus Kajol brought the reports to the court's attention on Thursday morning.

Later, a bench consisting of Justice FRM Nazmul Ahasan and KM Kamrul Kader gave the order to get the information.
Three people hacked at Rifat Sharif, 22, son of Dulal Sharif of Barguna Sadar upazila, in front of his wife in front of Barguna Government College on Wednesday morning.
Critically injured, Rifat was admitted to Barguna General Hospital, and later transferred to Sher-E-Bangla Medical College Hospital in Barisal, where the duty doctors declared him dead.
Rifat's father Dulal lodged a case accusing 12 people in connection with the incident. Until now, police have arrested one person, Chandan.
