The High Court on Tuesday asked authorities concerned to identify and repair vulnerable primary school, high school, and madrasa buildings across the country and make them safe and environment-friendly after renovation within three months.

The High Court also asked the Local Government and Rural Development (LGRD) secretary, and the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) chief engineer and additional chief engineer to report to it within the stipulated time.

A bench of Justices JBM Hassan and Md Khairul Alam passed the order on Tuesday and fixed August 21 for next hearing.
