A Dhaka court has set February 10 to submit the probe report of a case filed over the cyber heist of $81 million from the account of Bangladesh Bank in 2016.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Sadbir Yeasir Ahsan Chowdhury set the new date on Wednesday, after the investigating officer failed to submit the report to the court.
Mohammad Raihun Islam, investigation officer of the case—and also assistant superintendant of the police (ASP) of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID)—was scheduled to submit the report about the heist; which is one of the biggest cyber crimes in the world.
