The benches will start operation on Sunday
The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court has formed two new benches to run judicial activities.
Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain on Thursday issued an order to form the benches, said High Court Division’s Special Officer Mohammad Saifur Rahman, reports UNB.
The chief justice will chair one of them benches. Justice Hasan Foez Siddique, Justice Zinat Ara and Justice Md Nuruzzaman will assist him.
Senior Justice Muhammad Imman Ali will lead the other bench and will be assisted by Justice Mirza Hussain Haider and Justice Abu Bakar Siddiquee.
The benches will start operation on Sunday.
Besides, Justice Nuruzzaman has been appointed as the chamber judge of the Appellate Division.
