A Sylhet court has sent BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's adviser Khandaker Abdul Muktadir and three other party men to jail in a sabotage case.
Sylhet Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Mustain Billah passed the order On Thursday, after police produced them before the court.
Detective Branch (DB) of Police arrested Muktadir from in front of Rose Valley Hotel in Sylhet on Wednesday, reports the UNB.
He was arrested, an hour after the maiden rally of Jatiya Oikyafront, as he went there to meet BNP’s senior leaders.
Later, Muktadir was shown arrested in a case filed with Kotwali police station on October 15 in connection with an attack on police at a rally of Swechchhasebak Dal.
