There are inconsistencies between the witness testimonies and evidence presented during the trial of the Zia Orphanage Trust corruption case, said Zainul Abedin, president of Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) and one of Khaleda Zia's lawyers in the case.
He made the comment on Tuesday in response to a reporter's question at the SCBA building.
When asked about the observations made about Khaleda Zia during trial, Zainul said: “The observations they presented are mostly false. There are many inconsistencies in the evidence and testimonies presented during the trial.”
