12 sentenced to death for killing Tangail college student
A Tangail court has sentenced 12 people to death for killing a college student in Bhuapur three years ago. The identities of the convicts are not known, and four remain on the run. Tangail Special Judge Wahiduzzaman delivered the verdict on Tuesday, reports UNB. Razon Mia was a second-year student at Dhanbari Degree College. Razon, critically injured in the attack, died while being taken to Dhaka. A case was filed against 18 people over his death. Police later pressed charges against 12 people in court.
