Nur Khan was amassing wealth illegally, ACC has found
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has sought the wealth information of Nur Khan, private secretary to former housing and public works minister and Awami League leader Engineer Md Mosharraf Hossain.
Muhammad Arif Sadeq, the ACC public relations officer, told UNB that the anti-graft body sent a notice in this regard on Tuesday.
A letter signed by ACC Director Mohammad Aktar Hossain Azad was sent to his address.
According to the notice, the commission has found evidence that the accused was amassing wealth illegally.
The ACC wanted information on his and his family’s movable and immovable assets within 21 days. If he fails to submit or provide a statement of the wealth information, the ACC will take the necessary action under the ACC Act.
