Police raided the press of Bangla language daily paper 'Amar Desh' and sealed it on Thursday night, hours after arresting the acting editor.
Earlier, a team of detective branch police launched a drive at the press in city’s Tejgaon Industrial Area following a search warrant issued by a Dhaka court.
Police started the raid around 8:30pm and sealed the press around 10:40pm.
Police sources said a Dhaka court directed them to seize all the evidence and materials related to the case in which Mahmudur Rahman has been arrested and placed on 13-day remand in the morning.
