The Department of Management Information Systems (MIS) and the Department of Human Resource Management (HRM) of the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA), American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB), jointly organized BizTech 4.0 on 21-22 June 2023 at AIUB campus.
A two-day event that aimed to showcase the impact of technology on businesses with a focus on expanding students' management skills and expertise, the event promised to be engaging and insightful, according to a press release issued on Thursday.
Prof Dr Md Abdur Rahman, pro-vice chancellor of AIUB, inaugurated BizTech 4.0.
On the second day of BizTech 4.0, Inter-College Technology based Smart Business Plan Competition and Quiz Contest on ICT in Bangladesh was held as part of the Outreach program of AIUB.
Over 200 students and their faculty members from 20 colleges participated in this event.
The "Biz-Tech 4.0 Smart Business model" exhibition was held on Thursday, June 22, 2023.
During the exhibition, Dr Mohammad Faridul Alam, director of Graduate Programs (MBA and EMBA), and Dr Rezbin Nahar, director of Undergraduate Program (BBA), and other department heads and faculty members were present.
The purpose of the event is to provide a forum for college students to share their creative business ideas with industry experts and invited corporate guests to receive feedback for the future development and implementation of their ideas.
The prize giving ceremony was inaugurated by the welcome speech of Dr Rezbin Nahar, director of BBA program.
After her brief speech, the chief guest Fazlul Karim, BMIT and special guest Dr Mashiur Rahman Mridha, principal, Narshingdi Independent College and Habibur Rahman, general manager.
After the closing ceremony, a cultural program was held by the AIUB Performing Arts Club (APAC).
