More rain forecast across Bangladesh

Weather office records 304mm of rainfall in Sylhet

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has predicted showers in eight divisions of the country in 24 hours from 9am on Sunday. 

According to the regular weather bulletin, light to moderate rain or thundershower accompanied by temporary gusty wind and intense lightning flashes is likely to occur at most places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at some places.

Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged.

Monsoon is active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay.

The BMD has recorded 304mm of rainfall in Sylhet.

The highest temperature was recorded at 34.5 degrees Celsius in Tarash, while the lowest temperature was 22 degrees Celsius in Sitakunda.
