ULAB hosts successful start-up leaders
The symposium focused on leadership qualities that will lead to successful startups
University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) organized an event on successful start-up leaders with well-known entrepreneurs from Bangladesh.
The symposium, titled “Secret Sauce: Traits of Successful Start-up Leaders in Bangladesh,” was organized by the Center for Enterprise and Society (CES) on April 24, said a press release.
The session started with Associate Professor and Director of CES Sajid Amit and IBM Strategy Consultant Seeam Shahid Noor presenting a CES working paper.
The event also included a panel discussion with professionals who have founded or have been CXOs of successful firms, said the press release.
The expert panellists included Founder and CEO of ConfigVR &ConfigRbot Rudmeela Nawsheen, Director of Foodpanda Maksudul Islam, EdTech Founder and CEO of Bitsy Sabrina Imam, and Founder, Chair and CEO of Praava Health Sylvana Quader Sinha.
The experts also provided advice on how to manage a successful company and overcome the problems the beginners may face.
Following the panel discussion, there was a lively question-answer session where students, young professionals, and new startup leaders asked questions to the experts on topics ranging from leadership to startup opportunities in Bangladesh, according to the press release.
