Covid-19: 3 more Omicron cases reported in Bangladesh

Total number of infections from the new Covid variant in the country now stands at 10

Bangladesh has reported another three cases of the Omicron variant of the coronavirus.

The total number of Omicron cases confirmed in the country currently stands at 10 as of Friday.

Germany’s Global Initiative on Sharing All Influenza Data (GISAID) announced the detection of the three new cases on Friday night, according to media reports.

As stated by the GISAID website, the new patients infected with Omicron include two females, aged 49 and 65, while another was a 65-year-old male.

All of them were from Dhaka, according to the data submitted by Institute for Developing Science and Health Initiatives (ideSHi) in Dhaka.
