The accidents took place between Thursday and Friday
At least five people, including a woman and her son, were killed in separate train accidents in Tangail and Dhaka in the last 24 hours.
In Tangail, a mother and his son have died after being hit by a train at Gharinda union of Sadar upazila on Friday.
The deceased are Saramoni, 25, and her son Abdur Rahman Aiyan, 2.
The deceased’s husband Ashraf Ali said he and his wife was going to a relative’s house on a motorcycle when the accident took place.
Gharinda Station Master Sohel Khan said a motorcycle was hit by a Dhaka-bound Kurigram Express in the evening. The bodies were handed over to the family.
In Dhaka, police recovered a 24-year-old’s body on Thursday night near Shoinik Club area at Banani.
He was killed after being hit by Kamalapur-bound Sonar Bangla Express, Dhaka Medical College police camp Sub Inspector (SI) Saqlain confirmed.
Police recovered another unidentified body from Karwan Bazar area on Thursday night, SI Riaz Mahmud said.
In another incident, a man died while talking on phone near Karwan Bazar Kathpotti area on Thursday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Monsur Helal, 25. He used to work at a private firm in Dhaka.
All three of their bodies were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy on Friday.
