The survivors met two of the accused over the phone and formed a romantic attachment with them, according to their statement
Police arrested four youths from Bandar, Narayanganj on Tuesday in a case filed over the alleged rape of two teenage girls in the upazila.
One of the survivors lodged the case with the police station naming five accused.
The arrestees were identified as Sifat, 18, Sakib Hossain, 24, Sifat Hossain, 21, and Md Naeem, 24. However, one of the accused, Shakil, is still on the run.
According to the case statement, the girls met Sifat and Sifat Hossain over the phone and formed a romantic attachment with them. They met with the five accused on Tuesday evening and went to Sakib's house, where Sifat and Sifat Hossain raped the teenagers.
Bandar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Dipak Chandra Saha said the girls were sent to Narayanganj General Hospital for medical examination.
