Harmony Trust will launch library virtually on Wednesday
Harmony Trust, a private voluntary organization in Bangladesh with a specialization in Naturopathy, has taken the initiative of establishing the first-ever digital library of Yoga and Naturopathy.
The library will secure people’s open access to reliable books, research reports, and articles on various forms of Naturopathy and healthy lifestyles.
A comprehensive and integrated approach to healthcare is now a global demand for attaining universal health coverage.
Consequently, various forms of Naturopathy, such as, Yoga, Reflexology, Acupressure & Sujok have drawn increased attention of both the caregivers and recipients.
The unavailability of authentic learning materials and reliable evidence on one hand, and overflow of materials containing false measures and fake remedies of diseases on the other, are restrictive to the promotion of Naturopathy.
Thus, Harmony Trust’s initiative has drawn the attention of and inspiration from academic institutions and health professionals across the world, even at its initial stage.
The virtual launching ceremony of the library will take place on Wednesday, from 3:30pm-5:00pm on it’s official Facebook page.
It is expected that the event will be enriched by the presence of Member of Parliament Aroma DDutta Chancellor of Yoga University S-VYASA, India Dr HR Nagendra, former pro-vice chancellor of BSMMU Professor Dr Rashid-E-Mahbub, former principal of Chittagong Medical College Professor Dr Subhagata Choudhury, DIG (Railway) of Bangladesh Police Md Shah Alam, Yoga Master & Tantric Healer from Belgium Peter Merchand, and eminent actor, writer, and reciter of Bangladesh Jayanto.
