Quader: Rebels will not get party post, nomination in municipal polls

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has said those who are rebelling against the party candidates in the municipal polls will not get any post or future nomination.

He made the remarks during a regular briefing from his official residence on Sunday morning.

“Whether they win or lose, action will be taken against the rebels. They will not be considered for the party post, our party president has clearly mentioned that,” said Quader.

They will also not get any nomination in the future polls also, he added.

Quader also said that the results of the of the second phase of municipal polls are very satisfactory.
