The 41st Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) preliminary examination will be held on March 19 and the 42nd BCS examination has been slated for February 26.
Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) made the announcement following a meeting at the commission on Wednesday afternoon, reported multiple media outlets.

The 41st preliminary test will be held in all centres in Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet, Rangpur, and Mymensingh at once from 10am-12pm on March 19.
Earlier on November 30, 2019, PSC issued the 41st BCS exam circular for recruitment into 2,166 vacant cadre posts.

Whereas, preliminary test for the 42nd special BCS will be held in Dhaka centers from 3pm-5pm on February 26.
Around 2,000 doctors will be recruited through the special BCS and more than 31,000 applications have been submitted for the special 42nd BCS.
