Dhaka railway police have rescued a 7-8 month old girl from Kamalapur Railway Station in the capital.
Officer-in-charge of Dhaka railway police station Rakib Ul Hossain confirmed the matter.
He said the child was found wrapped in a cloth at the base of pillar no 20 of platform no 7 of the railway station at 11:30 pm on Monday.
Then she was rescued from there and her guardians were nowhere to be found.
The baby seemed to have some physical disabilities.
The child is currently under the care of Sumaiya Akhter, a female constable of Dhaka railway police station's women, children, adult and disabled Service Desk.
